Use the directory preferences to set the locations of various directories HotDog uses. To edit your Directory Settings:
On the Edit menu, select Preferences submenu.
Select Directories on the tree view of the Preferences dialog.
Whenever you save an HTML file, HotDog will present you with a default directory for storing your files. Using this option you can control which directory will be used to store your documents.
Whenever you save a template file, HotDog will present you with a default directory for storing it. Using this option you can control which directory will be used to store your templates.
Whenever you save an image file, HotDog will present you with a default directory for storing it. Using this option, you can control which directory will be used to store your graphics.
Should you choose to publish your files to a directory, they will be published to the directory specified here.
The backup directory stores all your backed up files.
